The Craft Group

The Craft Group meets on Wednesday afternoons from 1.15pm to 3.15pm and is informal, with like minded people meeting to pursue their own hobby or learn something new.  We have people who knit, crochet, cross stitch, embroider, quilt, machine stitch, do paper craft and bead work.   No one is expected to participate in anything they do not wish to.  

 

We have, over the years, supported charities by producing goods to send abroad and holding craft fayres to raise money to donate to local charities.  We have a fairly flexible syllabus where people come along on occasion to show us their particular craft and we do arrange some social events.
